Academic Excellence

The Academic Recognition Banquet is held in May, for excelling students, teachers and their parents. We started this prestigious annual event in 2004 and it has become something our high school students strive to be a part of.

This is an exciting time in the lives of all graduating seniors and the K-12 Foundation honors 20 students, for their outstanding efforts in academic accomplishments and have been named Distinguished Students. We also recognize and honor the distinguished teachers for being a significant positive influence on his or her education and life, and have been named Distinguished Teachers.

We also offer a special thanks to our numerous sponsors and donors who make this event possible. The generosity of our Lake Havasu citizens and businesses is to be commended, as they continuously share their resources supporting our youth and the K-12 Foundation.
